Childhood
Joseph Chiang was born in Hualien, Taiwan in 1980. He received Chinese painting training as early as 9 years old and won the first place Taiwan National Art competition when he was 10. He moved to Belize with his family in 1995.

1995 ~2003 Belize
- Top 20 artists of Belize group exhibition.
- Designer of the Belizean National Mural celebrating 20th independence Anniversary

2003 ~ 2006 SCAD years in USA
Majoring in Painting at Savannah College of Arts and Design

2006~2008 New York years
Focused on watercolor after SCAD graduation. Had good online selling experience.

2008~2012 Back to Belize
- Worked as Illustrator for Cubola publisher
- Several Solo watercolor exhibition
- Invited to participate Hundred Years of the Republic of China group exhibition in Belize

2012 ~ Back to Taiwan
Established Joseph Art Studio in Tamsui, Taiwan in 2015. Since then worked as full time art instructor and creating watercolor and oil paintings regularly.

2016
First Teacher-student joint Exhibition At Tamsui Custom Wharf Museum

2017
Solo Exhibition At Huwei Mackay Hospital Museum。

2018
Second Teacher-student joint Exhibition At Tamsui Cultural Foundation showing more than 100 art works.
